Staging…a necessary option
Staging is yet another tool in the Realtor’s tool box for home selling and should be considered in order for the home to be sold quickly and at a competitive price. The home has become the actor and for this reason, it must be placed in the limelight as the star of the area before the audience of buyers for as often as possible and in the most coveted manner possible.
Remember that other properties are competing for buyers’ attention as well and these properties may also enjoy the same ideal “location, location, location,” condition, architectural style and price, so, why not give your home an edge? Buyers are picky and fickle. They can talk themselves out of buying just as easily as talking themselves into it. Subtractions begin the moment they pull into the driveway and walk to the front door. Give the plus sign with professional staging that puts them–the buyers–inside the home, actually living there. This is especially true for new and newly-rehabbed homes.
Make it easy for potential buyers. Leave them with a favorable first impression of style and curb appeal. Show them value. Give them a little Feng Shui and you just might get your price.
